1. Child / Booster Seat
All our car seats conform to the latest European Safety Standard ECE R44/04, recognised by NZ law, with 'E' mark as required by the NZ Transport Agency, and can be legally used in NZ.
2. Google Chromecast
TV reception is extremely limited in New Zealand. A ‘Google Chromecast’ is a device that will allow you to watch numerous channels via mobile phone data. The ‘Chromecast’ can be connected to TV units in our campervans. You will need 2 mobile phones and a suitable data plan. One phone will supply a hotspot data connection whilst the other phone can ‘cast’ selected channels to the TV. The ‘Chromecast’ is plugged into the USB and HDMI ports of the TV and thus do not require 240V power.
3. Inverter 150-Watt 12V-240V
The 150 Watt 12V-240V inverter can be connected to the 12V (cigarette lighter) power supply in your vehicle. It will convert the 12V power of your house battery to 240V in-house power at low wattage. This is suitable to charge small wattage items such as a laptop via a normal 240Volt power plug. Please note that this device will not power heaters, hair dryers and other high wattage items.
4. Private Home Power Adapter (240 Volt)
Our 240Volt adapters allow you to connect to common household power in New Zealand. This adapter is not required for staying on campsites as we supply the correct cord to connect. You will need to hire this adapter if you are staying with friends and family in New Zealand and wish to connect your campervan to their household power sockets.
