The Carbon Project (2014-2019)

A carbon offset program allowing us to 'offset' the fuel emissions of our fleet.

The credits were sourced solely from the Native Forest Restoration Trust. The trust generates 'PFSI' Standard carbon credits from restoring New Zealand native forests. Wendekreisen purchased these credits to offset the fuel imprint of its rental vehicles.

As at 31st March 2019, Wendekreisen has purchased and cancelled 13,111 tCO²e (tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent). All Wendekreisen Carbon Credit Offsets are recorded within the voluntary unit cancellation table of the Environmental Protection Authority.
